The performance D.O.T.N.A.N.A. is a further development of the En3+4Jeux interactive dance performance [ >] and a following up of the collaboration between the French-based dance company 'Res Publica' and the Belgian collaborative agency LAb[au]. As the mentioned performance En3+4Jeux _ D.O.T.N.A.N.A. proposes a direct interaction between the public and the dancer on stage by the needs of a wireless mouse. In this manner the performance examines the scenic device and the question of representation according to the introduction of interactive media.

In this 'one performer-version' the public interacts with the dancer on stage through an interface projected on the back of the screen displaying a schematic graphic of the body skeleton. Each graphical icon represents one of the dancer's body-articulations and where the displacement of one of the different elements is interpreted by the dancer movements in correspondence. During the interactive part each manipulation of the interface by the audience is recorded and displayed as a result at the end, non interactive part, in form of a continuous animation and where the dancer's movement becomes a continuous dance. Here both parts, the audience and the dancer negotiate a common play combining graphics with movement, music with dance.
